DOW 10K BULLST:

Good find, the Y2K Doom & Gloom crowd will either ignore what they said earlier or start back peddling, typical!!

What a JOKE to watch their response.

Apparently the words "could" and "potential" from the Gartner Group information are over your head...as well as David Eddy's explanation as to why D10K and Y2K are only analogous in that they involve field expansion. Just another illustration highlighting how little you understand about the nature of real problem at hand.

Note that your excerpt is not a direct quote from Gartner Group. This is clearly the reporter talking. I doubt you'll ever find a quote from anyone at Gartner Group drawing a direct analogy between D10K and Y2K (again other than they both involve field expansion.) You're welcome to try. If the press chose to spin it that way, well...

At one time I made numerous press statements and gave interviews as a lobbyist and a spokesperson. Often times I could not recognize the direct quote or the reporter written context I saw attached to my name in print. It comes with the territory. Eventually you learn which reporters you can trust and who you have to tell to "take a hike."
