Check out Sony's website, you can order the machine thru it. Retailers on the east coast are also starting to carry it. Beautiful design, high price. Only drawback I can see on the first version of this machine is that Sony does not offer a DVD drive. Paul listed it as offering it, but the specs I looked at on the website say no. They also offer a slot with new memory technology incorporated in the form of 8meg 'chewing gum sized' memory sticks. Probably will come in handy with digital cameras and such if it catches on.

I saw it on display - and in stock - at Fry's Electronics in Sunnyvale, CA.

That was yesterday - Thursday.
