kiwi - tusk. There's been mention of the thing and some of the other Strachan players buried back in the archives. There's also some colorful opinions and what not on a separate thread that currently has around 1085 posts. #Subject-12227 Lots of info. to pore thru and even a few things to possibly have you/your son ask mgmt. about.?[D...... Hope it helps.

Kiwi,
Prospects for Tusk are excellent assuming oil price recovery is real.Company expects to produce 1,350 boe by year end. They started 1999 with 820 boe production and now producing 920 boe and with Carvel tied in by April production 1,060 boe.
Strachan issues will be resolved hopefully within a couple of months.
If oil hits $18 a barrel by year end Tusk should exit 1999 with annualized cash flow approaching $7 million. With 11,700,000 shares fully diluted and a conservative cash flow multiple of 4 Tusk could trade up to $2.39 by year end. With $7,000,000 in cash flow in 2000 and higher line of credit Tusk's high case scenario could see them exit year 2000 with 2,960 boe production. This is based on them drilling 8 wells at Meekwap and 5 wells at Strachan.

Have a good weekend,
Richard
