Herb, it's real complicated.

It has to do with the time value of options and how market makers can scalp a little profit on the last few hours of options trading.

As a natural consequence of economics (no conspiracy, please!), prices tend towards closing at a strike price. Didn't happen today.

IBM Target price was reduced by a major broker, and that slammed everyone in technology.

If you like AAPL, take a look at IBM. A buying opportunity may be presenting itself soon, there.
