Paul,

Saw HP 500Mhz PIII System for $2599 at Costco today.
The system was loaded with 12.7GB hard drive, 128Mb SRAM,
56K modem, 4XDVD CDROM, 8Mb video, HP CDwriter Plus, and
a 19" monitor. The model no. was HP8496. (I remember back
in the early eighties when I bought my first IBM PC for
$2500 with only one floppy drive.)
