Al, those big bids could also have been stock for delivery against naked calls.

It was strange. Wouldn't it make sense that someone who wants to buy a large amount of a fairly low float stock like RMBS wouldn't advertise it so blatantly? You'd think they'd plant INCA on the ask with size to fake the traders out and sit there accumulating on the other side. These two 50k bids just sat there for an hour. The first one filled fairly quickly but then the stock moved up some and the second bid moved down and was not the inside bid for about 30 minutes. I have never ever seen anything like that in Rambus. You'll see in on Dell or Intel or something like that but the big bidder will usually be MSCO or MLCO or GSCO or somebody like that. So, go figure. Maybe the Saudi prince (you know, the guy who has all that Apple stock) is daytrading Rambus <G>
