Let's just say I sold all my INTC and MSFT stock and own APPL now instead.

All kidding aside...I think Apple has a great product for the home market (the one that's left anyway i.e., those that have never owned a computer before). Mac is still far easier to use. It also appeals to all ages. And it is very appealing to the non-technical types. There is still an upgrade market but it's diminishing. In my opinion, anyone who upgrades beyond any speed PII is throwing money away. I am quite satisfied with my P200 myself.

I am keeping my IBM Aptiva because I still need a Windows platform (although the reasons are lessening since I stopped working), but if by chance the Softwindows product runs the apps I care about adequately, then I may get rid of that machine and buy a second iMac.
