By the way, I just noticed that the CSCO thread was started 31 months ago with the following message:

I'm interested in what other subscribers think about the company and its stock price. Personnaly [sic], I think its stock has an extremely high PE ratio. In addition, some people justify the high PE on the erroneous grounds that the company has no competition.This is not true; 3COM is not chopped liver!

Well, some things change and some remain the same. P/E still very high, but now 3Com is chopped liver!

It's not just you sitting on the sidelines with part of your money. Aggregate money supply (M2 and M3) are growing at well above inflation--something like 8-10% p.a.
