Out of curiosity, I just did a calculation on the Dow based on an old model I used to use to calculate the extent of moves in a market that had turned; in other words, 'it bottoms and turns, where is the next top?'.

The most recent low on the Dow was in late August. I used that to calculate the estimated high on the Dow. (I could have done this in early October when the up move started, but I didn't.)

Guess what the top I calculated is: 10,100. Friggin' weird. If that is the top, I can't tell yet where this model says the uptrend will show a reversal, but I can give you a "guesstimate": if the Dow goes below 9500 in the next 5 weeks, the trend is down from there.
