I agree with you about the loyalty of corporations. I just suspect that it's less of an issue if it's U.S. high tech and oil companies that are accumulating U.S. dollars overseas as opposed to Japanese, Chinese, Europeans etc... The interest payments on bonds, bills, etc.. where it's parked will be contributing to the earnings of U.S. corporations which are primarily owned by Americans. The other way, we aren't benefiting from our own tax dollars. That's got to hurt big time over the long term. It's a question I've wondered about for a long time but have never found an answer to.
