II Peter 3 3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. There is for the unbeliever, one absolute that not even they can scoff at despite all philosophical or religious convictions... Everyone dies. God's word, the Bible has remained a constant, despite efforts to suppress it, to change it, to scoff at it. It stands as a constant reminder that God says there is one absolute for all humanity... There is only one way to be saved and that is through Jesus Christ. To deny God's word is to trust in your own way as being better. With that thought in mind I ask you this question... Did you create the universe and all that it contains? Mankind claims infinite wisdom that knows no bounds and the ability to shape his own destiny. The strong prevail, masters of vanity .... at least until the point of death.
