Just wanted to mention how much I like this thread and how innovative and inspirational its been on SI. The idea behind the Z-portfolio is great and I'm thinking of loosely using this idea for Market Gems (the thread on SI for EVERYONE, not the website just for subscribers) I figured to come to the 'masters' would be a good idea. Instead of having a 'real live z-portfolio' that people BUY I was thinking of a 'Market Gems General Watch List' with stocks that have been on previous watch lists (everyone gets the watch list 1-2 days after subscribers and our picks are good for 1-2 week time frame) and will be tracked from 1 day to a few weeks, but in an orderly, uniform fashion like your z-portfolio perhaps even on a separate thread. I know it seems unusual for me to come to this thread with that idea, but actually I'd like your 'feedback' and 'permission' to a) Mention the Z-portfolio as being the model and inspiration for the 'idea' b)I'd like to back track this thread and the 'portfolio' for some ideas. I think its in the interests of both our threads to show traders that message boards and their hosts don't need to be aggressive, on ego trips and controversial, but rather helpful, cooperative and respectful of other threaders.. and in this tenet, Z-Place has been a model..
