My experience with a company whose stock I owned that got hit with JUST ONE class action lawsuit, was that they settled and paid. Turns out that hundreds of thousands (millions?) of stockholders jumped on the bandwagon, what the hey, free money. The sued company just didn't want to get dragged through the courts and paid through the nose. In the case of AMD, just what they need at this juncture. Tony
