AOL is a great stock but...

for those of you who may have written off DELL, please read this new article:

BTW: I own DELL and AOL (and CMGI). IMHO, there is no reason why DELL and AOL (with similar valuations -- north of $100B ) can't both be SPECTACULAR performers for shareholders in the next few years. At the moment DELL is a little out of favor with many momentum investors and large Growth Fund investors. Yet, that will change. Too many people have bet against Michael Dell and been sorry about it a few months later. I feel that DELL is now on track for a RECORD quarter that will put the growth concerns to bed -- and that is what they need to deliver. They are also becoming much more of a web-based business -- by the end of 2000 over 50% of total sales will be generated online. New penetration of high margin fields like servers and storage is just ramping up in a major way. DELL's P/E is still well under 100 -- and it will probably stay there until the big money feels that the growth potential has been re-ignited. Hmmm..... this next quarter could be very interesting.

Good Luck Investing Everyone.

Regards,

Scott
