Checked out the PIXT board on Yahoo, not a happy bunch there as the stock has dropped from an all-time high of 7 to an all-time low of 1 3/8 since May 1998.

It looks like their business since they started in 1993 is mostly raising money. Lots of minus signs; they have one product and one customer so far. A startling paragraph:

"During 1998, the Company has incurred losses in the amount of $17,875,000 and used cash in operating activities of $9,343,000 which has adversely affected the Company's liquidity. At December 31, 1998, the Company had net working capital of $145,000 and a deficit accumulated during the development stage of $54,156,000. These conditions raise substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern. The Company intends to improve its liquidity and financial position through capital increases expected to take place in 1999." (all numbers un-compressed from SEC "thousands omitted" format -- JG)

Well, MU certainly "bought low"; we'll see what value the Display Division brings to them.

John:

I see that MU is holding a garage sale.

I've lost count,....is this the 5th or 6th asset sale in this last two years?

Best, Earlie
