Wayne, I'll post an update intro for the thread based on my call with Larry Schaeffer (EBID President) tomorrow when I have all my notes in front of me.

I am ALMOST 100% sure his email was larrys@ebid.com, but it may have been larrys@acubid.com, my notes are at work. This may not mean they also own ebid.com webaddress since someone else obviously is using it. They do own acubid.com, which is the actual name of the company, so that's all that really matters.

Lots of posts tonight, but again none with any new information. IMO some of you guys need to spend a little more time doing DD and a little less time posting and attacking spammers. No purpose in trying to keep this one quite any longer, the word is out, now its time to sit back and enjoy the ride if you're already in, or try to get some early Monday if you haven't already. Let's all do some DD this weekend and get this one up and moving on Monday.

Larry did mention that there will be many PRs in the future that they will include many of the details he didn't feel comfortable sharing with me on the phone. These will be coming out very soon.

If everyone sent Larry one meaningful (and answerable) e-mail question, and shared it with the rest of us, this thread could really take off. Making the hot list based on meaningless posts will do nothing for the stock, folks will drop by, see no substance, and move on. That's what I was prepared to do before I spoke with Larry. Anyone who talks to this guy will see that he is savvy, and WILL have a very hit auction site up and running within ~3 months.

No lets get out there and do some serious DD gang, and that includes looking at and discussing similar sites such as Sothebys, EBAY, MLRE, and USPN. NASDBULL, I know nothing about USPN, save me some time and share the facts, and how you think they compare to EBID. can someone share their experience with WEBY and MLRE as well.

Thanks, good luck

Where's that dang light switch, thud...ouch...
Good morning all.
I checked my notes from my call and I see one point that
I missed in an early post about my call to the co.
They said that they were planning to do live auctions via
the web. Sounds like they are looking at broadcasting over
the net via a fixed open auction format. A great concept. IMO
