Come on Little Engine, there is a big difference between 33 million out of an outstanding of 2.5 Billion shares and 600 thousand out of less than 20 million. That comparison stinks. MarkC.

LE, in case you missed it, the point I believe was NO price movement. (Since it was Ronaldo's post, he can clarify better than I.)

Today, the range between the bid and ask, despite over 200,000 shares traded remained no larger than 1/32 and the bid never went lower than its opening price and the ask never went higher than its opening price. In fact the ask never moved.

Now for your little example to fit the analogy, are you saying that Dell traded 33 million shares and the range between the bid and ask, like Digiticom, stayed at 1/32 and the bid never went lower than its opening price and the ask never moved during the trading day?

If you don't understand a point in a post, it might save time if you would ask for clarification.
