I agree with you on the Major producers. No doubt that is where
the mainsteam money will go, since hardly anyone knows anything
about the juniors, much less which to buy and where to buy them.

In a major gold move, no doubt the majors will move substantially
first. I would agree with you that getting in at these prices
seems reasonable, and probably a low-risk entry point, unless
you expect gold to go to $250. I don't expect that, but
if you look at the charts, the XAU and POG are not far from
recent lows, and a renewed deflationary wave could send them lower.

Oil's recent surge is encouraging to me, in that it has been rare
for gold to make a serious move without the participation of oil.
It is especially interesting that oil has moved only on the
prospect of decreased production.
This speaks volumes to me,
in that in the past, that kind of talk would have increased prices
for a day or two, but not this sustained move that has happened.
