I had to go back and make sure that post wasn't by Gaugie.
They sound wonderful. what did you do with them?
THose Woolworth sofa paintings are reallly reallly scary. Worse than Van Gogh.

Since I have already confessed to destroying my mother's house the day after she died and made fun of her taste in carpets and cookies, I will now tell you that for years in our dining room was this Woolworths painting---not even real paint- of a toreador goring a bull with those sticks. THe bull had all this blood on him. This was in our dining room. Just think about that. Then she moved it to the guest bedroom.
My mother had a lot of passive aggressiveness in her.

OH MY! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! LOL!

I love it. Those K-Mart pictures are the BEST! My mom was an artist in every word of it. You could never see any wall in any house because of the art hanging in the Museum we called home. Her home is still that way, to this day. But she did teach me to appreciate art. From the Kimball Museum to the Guggenheim.

As an Engineer, with an artistic backgound, and a Masters in Finance, I often have a different 'take' on things.

Jack
