You two (otter and you) need to relax! Just go with this dance! You are too intense! My gut says it blows up through 20 in the first 30 minutes of trading on Monday.

That letter was a gigantic white flag! The guy didn't (couldn't) have written it! Not while he was cussing untranslatable Dutch cursewords through clenched teeth, with veins throbbing in the hands and neck...Heck he could barely scribble his signature, on a letter eloquently crafted to show their contrite desire to keep the game alive, written by the best minds the bankers could proffer.

Look at what LogicDevices revealed in his research. Al preplanned a multimillion dollar personal deal in a narrow window of time just prior to the public offer by PHG. Of course he knew it was coming and of course thanks to LD we can see that he prepared for a hostile buyout with a short duration process (note the interest costs versus his income).

Now Herb on Yahoo is talking about the possibility of an LBO, while PHG is filling the wing tanks on the Lear and doing a preflight. Things should move swiftly next week, what with the BOD vote and all.

Of course the LBOers won't want the stock to rise too much but PHG is likely to be standing there pitching big bills into the ring just to keep their position. No more narrow trading range. Time to jump to its real market price. Liftoff Monday 9:30, fireworks after the meeting and Board vote. Now just sit tight, quiet your inner voices and remember how it feels so you can tell the story to the grandchillen some day. And hang in there!
