Actually, I do understand plain English. The spirit of the TOU clearly includes the idea of no minors. The letter of the law gives SI complete leeway in individual cases.

My question is, why are they deviating from the spirit of the TOU in Daniel's case? I am an adult and have paid good money to be in a place where I can discuss stocks and point out scams without having to deal with people that cannot legally trade on the stock market.
