After some light reading this afternoon with Technical Market Indicators - Analysis and Performance of Technical Indicators - not a recommendation, this book is for professionals) I come to the conclusion how much help is already given to traders with stock selection sites (not just Market Gems) that do about quite a lot of the work already namely:

1)Select the stocks from a universe of 8,000 (i.e. the earnings plays and watch lists stocks)

2)Point out the trend reversal (i.e. the charts and analysis in these lists)

3)Wait for the buy signal to be triggered. (Hopefully through helpful intraday updates on Silicon Investor)

4) Answering e-mail throughout the day with buy/sell queries

Subscribers and traders don't realize how difficult it is to go from Step #1 to step #2 and Step #3 is probably the easiest step (although of course the riskiest)for me personally. If you do it all by yourself from scratch you will see the monumental task that lies before you.

The reason I mention this now is becasue I have been 'inside this business' and have my own trading strategies and systems already mapped out and internalized as a routine, that I myself lost sight of how difficult it all really can be. Just reading a book like the above showed me how confusing it must be for new traders and even investors seeking to do their own trading/investing online.

That is why we like to ask you to please read up on as much technical analysis as you can thereby familiarizing yourself with the entire process from stock selection to final taking of profits (or cutting your losses through stops)
