I purposely did not mention that the CEO was Japanese, I assume Japanese-American. I also did not mention that the company is 67% owned by NKK which is a Japanese company. I see that as a positive for a steel company.

Regarding dividends. Dividend information is available at yahoo.marketguide.com. I must admit that the input here has made me realize that I should have considered dividend history in my analysis.

I especially liked the reference to kissing Grandma on the lips. Great analogy, Aus. Bill, I don't have the numbers on the dividends. I expect dividends to take a hit in the short term with the recent layoffs and associated expenses, combined with the dip in revenues due to the recent import dumping of steel.
