Gustave, That briefing was over TWO YEARS OLD!!! No wonder you Belgians lost the Congo!!! <VBG> I need timely intelligence, SIGINT, IMINT, and HUMINT. And I'll need the latest data from Interpol, as well whether or not there exists a current warrant for his arrest by the US. If so, we can approach FINCEN to see if their track his financial transactions, and we'll get the guys up at No Such Agency to monitor the airwaves for his voice print and trace his location that way. Paris is convinced there is an American plot to oust France from much of its West and North African dominions - just as the US kicked Britain and France out of their Mideast colonies in the 1950's. France and the US are openly vying to secure control of Zaire, which has vast resources of minerals, gems, gold and oil. Yeah... just like the US is convinced France deliberately left us holding the bag in Indo-China when they suddenly discovered it tweren't so easy being a colonialist power any longer. When some people think of France, they think of Paris, the Eiffel Tower, and the Seine. When I think of France, I see visions of Dien Bien Phu, May1940, Vichy, Greenpeace, and the body of Charles DeGaulle incessantly flipping over in his grave because his country hasn't been able to achieve the glory and world influence HE thought it should have.
