Richard(ps I don't really believe GATA is about money)
with all due respect, are you implying that Bill's intentions are not honorable? Please explain yourself further..In my book Rose certainly contributes more than hot air...more than enough to have fueled that flight. She contributes so much divisiveness(sp). Finally somebody is really sticking his neck out and look what happens..People don't thank him for his efforts but accuse him. What do you think her true motives are? Why does she appear to attack anybody who doesn't give her attention? What urls even does she contribute? Except her own url. What does she really have against Bill or whomever doesn't go along with her 3 year old fun and games.
Who knows, if GATA gets bigger, maybe Bill will find you a job.
.Why not ask Bill how much he is charging GATA an hour for
all his work? Don't you think that is important?
Instead why don't we all contribute sites and spread the message as
Bill suggests. Bill appears to be going against the establishment and
I doubt if money will be made..but on the otherhand..I have a strong
feeling that conditions are right now for some headway to be made.
Wouldnt it be great if money were to be made that it would be donated to South Africans,Indonesians and laid off miners etc who felt the
triage of the CB's policies..
I am so glad Greenspan doesnst worry about derivatives..He obviously
seems to be stating that the bailout of the LCMA was just normal
business

Richard(ps at least two years old are cute and need to assert themselves to at least define who they are not while they are learning whom they are..)
look at some of rose's concerns if you can wade through her writing..
I don't take the time to waste my time usually. Here she is going on
about year2k and she doesn't even know basically how to surf.
Then she gets furious at me because I was a mainframe programmer
..assembly language ..I would assume I would know a lot more than she..Why did she mention Jews? Wonder if she will mention blacks, etc
..Why doesn't she mention pig farmers. You have read enough of my posts to realize I get upset big time with racist overtones etc..
there was a wonderful quote somewhere on silicon about if one doesn't speak up then whom will be left
"2 tangle w/U = badge o'honor; places me N exc! co!, like THC 4 example You can't let
A-N-Y-one who disagrees with you on gold, Jews, computer programming, Y2K or
any OTHER subject pass anymore than you can deny your pups & pomponpoopers to
pass the corner firehydrants there on your "Upper East Side, Bobby!

Richard,

I have no intentions of responding to Ole 49er and engaging in dialogue with every one who is going to question everything we do and ask us to out every detail of what we are up to. We would accomplish nothing if I took that tak.

We have laid out what we are up to at gata.org for all to read. The effort that the Committee has put in to make this happen has been extraordinary and we are making serious progress. It is no cake walk. Two steps forward- one back. The email and fax messages sent to Joint Economic Committee Chairman, Saxton, worked. I have tentatively scheduled a meeting in Washington to meet with Jim Saxton and others in the Committee in mid April after the Easter recess. We are going down to Philadelphia on Thursday to have another visit with Berger & Montague.

We are a non profit corporation and have a local attorney looking into whether we qualify for contributions to be tax deductible. No answer on that as of yet.

If Goldman Sachs and J P Morgan lay out all they have to say and make full disclosure, so will we. Right now, there is a great deal of fluidity in what we are doing. At the moment we are taking in contributions so that we can retain Berger & Montague to launch an investigation into the Long Term Capital Management Bailout and the Counterparty Risk Management group headed by Goldman Sachs and J P Morgan.

We are working our butts off contacting gold mining companies and others associated with the industry and our time is stretched to the maximum. Only so many hours in a day. It cannot be spent explaining ourselves to everyone who wants an explanation. Especially those that do not seem to understand what it takes to accomplish something of this magnitude. You can't please everyone. Those that do not like what we are doing, can do there own thing.

We are doing the best job we can with the best of intentions.

Bill

I want blood!

So do I Richard.... So do I.

I want an apology from you, just like the one I provided to you when I was in error.

I want you to become a man and face up to your mistakes.

You sought to disparage me personally by implying I was some form of environmental wacko who hated gold because of its destruction of the environment. You fabricated that comment and presented it as fact. You felt compelled to do so as you followed me around knowing that I had got your goat (like I'm getting it even now).

Yes, you want blood Richard. And you've shown yourself fully capable and willing of fabricating lies about other people to justify your ends.

Don't you think its time for an apology? Are you man enough?

Didn't think so.

Our greater goal must now be a FREE gold market and repayment for past wrongs.

Btw, I agree. There should be a FREE GOLD MARKET. The Central Banks should not be subsidizing the gold mining industry by removing 14 years worth of production from the economy.

Maybe I should sue the CB for distorting the gold market and force them to sell.

Anyone up for starting a non-profit with the goal of forcing CB's to sell all of their gold?? Lemmee know!! <VBG>

Regards,

Ron
