is not much better. About the Linux being free. Did you see in the article where DELL says it is free but we will charge 99bucks installation fee. Give me a break, what a bunch of crooks.

Also, RedHat was selling at OfficeMax with an O/Max rebate for the purchase price, in effect, making it free.

Also, was in Costco yesterday and they had pallets of RdHat Linux for sell - $37 or $39. With so many people pi$$ed at M/S problems,no doubt some will at least try it, and some will change.

Question - is linux a viable OS for the PC yet?? Or is it still generally for network servers??
