Thanks Redhead for "1987 Grgich Hills Cab....nectar of the gods..." recommendation. I'll make sure to get either 82 or 87 Cab. and report back. (Hope I can find one) I am a beginner in this area. My dad loves Cab so I picked up this cab thing only a few month ago. I'd like to find the best cabs and give him the "6 pack" for his birthday coming on November. I am thinking about giving him 6 different kind. Maybe 4 or 5 cabs and one or two white wine. jon

Have you tried the Peju H&B 87? This is definatley "nectar". I commend your choice of the mid-late 80's Grgich Cabernet as well. Those were some great wines. Hard to come by now, though.
