I hope those IBM fears of slowdown are behind us. It wrecked the techs Friday-----except MSFT which was just kept from making gains.

If we don't get a preannouncent from IBM or Compaq this week and I don't think we will, Microsoft should quite easily rocket past 180.
Actually, even if PC makers feel competitive pressures, it is probably great for MSFT as more Windows and application software is sold.

Friday's trading was very encouraging. If the Nasdq had stayed flat at the end of the day, I feel MSFT would have gained 2 points to about 174-175.

If the market does not hand us some unexpected surprises, we should be well on our way.

I remember feeling that 180 was just wishfull thinking a few weeks ago. Now at least 100 after the split not only seems a like a possibility, it looks very realistic to me.

Go MSFT
