Pete,

When we retain the law firm, we will put this sort of request to him and will do what they tell us to do regarding the finances, etc.

Regarding the structure, I have to admit to being a bit bewildered. It is so simple. It is all on www.gata.org. We are a non profit Delaware corporation and are looking into the tax status of contributions. It is a grey area and we do not want to give out bad information.

I am the Chairman. John Meyer is the Vice-Chairman and Chris Powell is the Secretary. We are taking in contributions to launch an investigation against those that we think have colluded to keep the price of gold from rising. All of us make a living doing different jobs. This takes an inordinate amount of time and effort.

At some point, if this goes like we hope and enough money can be raised, we should be compensated for our time to make this happen. At the moment, that is not the case and may never be the case. Our interest is to right a wrong and expose one of the big scandals in U.S. history. It remains to be seen if we can do that.

It is my guess, it will take $2 to $3 million to prove our case and take a couple of years. We are going up against the most powerful financial institutions in the history of the world. Our future attorneys feel there is a great deal to what we are talking about, however. One of them makes $500 per hour and has all the work he can handle. He does not need GATA, but he personally likes what we are doing and, without putting words in his mouth, thinks we are right.

We look forward to your support.

Bill

Pete,

One more thing. All of us have contributed at least $500 to GATA and are up on the Honor Board. So we will get an Alain Despert print as a result of our work.
