Guaraná info ? I'm looking to buy some guaraná and have been comparing prices from various sources. AZNT's Guarana Selva - Product Number 0026PA is listed at $14.99 for 60 caps. I need to know milligrams of guaraná per capsule, and % caffeine content of the guaraná. Others, such as Nutrition Headquarters / Bob Lee, specify a standard minimum % value. e.g. for NH item# 12441 - Natural Guaraná, $6.80 for 90 1200 mg Tablets, a minimum caffeine content of 4.5% is specified. One of these would give you caffeine equal to about 2/5 that contained in a 6 ounce cup of coffee (~134 mg, average of drip and perc methods). Unfortunately, Amazon Natural neglected to include this information on their website, and there is no 800 telephone number to call. They only say that "our Guarana is made with the bark and seeds from the Paulinea [sic] Cupana and is 100% pure and natural with absolutely no fillers whatsoever." It is my understanding that commercial guaraná is produced only from the seeds of the plant, so I'm not sure why bark would be added or why anyone would want to eat it. Does anyone here have a catalog that gives more data? I would send a request by mail, but unless I decide to order I'd rather not give my name and address to the company. Thanks, WT
