No! He told people about AOL back then...and got very visible about it right after the last split.

Lighten up, jacktoad. It's one thing to critique another's opinion; it's quite another thing to criticize with ill will. Just the facts, Jack. Leave the ill will out of SI.

Jacktoad,

I feel your post is sincere and I will try to answer. You make some good points. Yes, AOL was, is and will probably for the next two years or so be a no-brainer. That is exactly what LOGIC is to me NO-BRAIN DEDUCTION. The problem is not with the Deduction but with PULLING THE TRIGGER once this No-brain deduction is made. I know so many people that can rattle off all of the great investments they CALLED but when I ask them how much they made on it, the answer is generally in the negative.. When I ( for the lack of a better word ) beseech people to buy a particular stock, I mean to BUY it, not look at it.

I still have approximately 13,000 shares of DELL but a lot more of my money is going into AOL right now. As for not posting on the DELL thread. Several of the NON-VOLTARIAN threaders called me on the fact that I said I would not post if Dell did not beat the numbers and they were correct. I like to see people keep their word and I am trying like hell to do that.

I must say I miss it a little.

I have found the AOL thread to be a nice second home.

Your posts are always enjoyable.

Take care,

Voltaire
