Tero,

Nokia's monitor business vs. Taiwan's + Korea's + Japanese's + others' monitor business. It is a good analogy to apply to celluar phone business. Why does Nokia need to be in that business while only has a less than, say, 3% market share? Why? The market is large enough for Nokia to survive.

Can you tell me? As a Finn, do you think China or Europe or even your home country should open for competition if you really want to talk about competition on technology and handset variety?

Could you also tell me why Nokia need to cooperate with InterDigital if Nokia had worked on WCDMA that many years ago? Why need help? Or Is it because IDC need funding and Nokia's WCDMA knowledge? That is why Nokia gave both money and technology to IDC for a favor.

Hey. The more your Nokia send out "inferior" CDMA phones the better the world will be. Just send out more. I, as a shareholder of QCOM for over 4 1/2 years, totally and happily take your Noika's royalty with no regret.

By the way, QCOM needs funding and Nokia's WCDMA technology too. Please tell Nokia to send a lot of dough to QCOM, say 100 million license fee plus 17 years of WCDMA royalty payment.

Regards,

Brian H.

Tero,

I forgot to mention one thing. I contributed to Q's bottom line too. I still had my 2 Q-2700 PCS phones. No problem at all except not enough coverage. That is why the world also needs Globalstar's service not a hyped "World phone" from some manufacturers.

Happy investing,

Brian H.
