Besides, who in their right mind is going to short a stock in this climate - no matter how much you believe it will go down. The numbers just don't add up compared to what you can make long with some of these speculative issues doubling and tripling in a few weeks. I shorted Sap last year, made a little money, but it was barely worth my time. I'll bet no one here posting negative comments on Oracle is actually short.

I'm puzzled about why you are puzzled. Your "warning" posts were
all about how the services income were going to be lousy, and include
graphic descriptions of consultants sitting around and executives on
the phone trying to drum up business. Since that was exactly wrong,
as it turns out, why do you think that you rate credibility? I don't
have any idea what Oracle is going to do in any future quarter, but
so far I don't have any confidence that you do, either.
