Perhaps, but a little diversion is not necessarily bad as long as it doesn't become the norm but "useless" is a little harsh and I am sure you didn't mean it that way. I think every aspect of Ampex good or bad has been hashed/rehashed many times and short of kidnapping Ed Bramson, holding a gun to his head and forcing him to spill his guts, I do not know what else we can do. All the dots have been connected and the analysis is in. It's down to a waiting game now..I personally contribute very little, if any, to this thread since most are more knowledgeable than I, but I have learned a lot by reading the post over the months and have developed a respect for the informative posters...maybe I am a little defensive.......Please Excuse that.

You're forgiven WTSherman for your Sat. morning grumpiness. I assume you are mostly a LURKER, like I am. Since we both post far and few. So if you miss the TA and insight; chronological, historical and ecuminical,(excuse the spelling, not using WORD) (smile) stuff that very often goes around and comes around, hang tough. It'll come. This really is one of the best places to be on the NET at times.
