rudedog: Thanks for your critique. According to the JPM report, COMPAQ is allowing channel partners to have the low-end services, and I can readily see why. But it allows Arthur Anderson to cream off some of the really profitable high-end stuff. Does AA do (a) the conceptual design of the systems that need to be computerised and then (b) implement the application of the computerisation - as they do with software products of SAP? Does COMPAQ let them continue with (b) because there are reciprocal benefits such as having AA direct their clients to COMPAQ? Or is it possible that COMPAQ will compete with AA in (b) as it develops its services division.?
