I don't know much about Shaeffers web site but have you checked out TRADEHARD.com's Option section? It's pretty good. They have Bob Pisani as there # 1 guy for options. According to the site he created the Greeks that are use in trading options. I have paper traded some of his stuff and have a paper profit that is pretty good (percentage wise). Check it out tell me what you think.
