The so-called private placement is really a way to let Jacob family take f*.com away from the rest of ALU shareholders.

How so?? I don't know how a private placement would do anything but postpone the eventual IPO of fragrance.com. The private placement, as I understand it, is merely a strategy to build up fragrance.com so that it is eventually a much better offering to the public.

To ALU longs, I would not make much of the recent price decline because of the weak volume. Because there has not been any new news, there is no reason for people unfamiliar with the full story to get in. On the other hand, Inet players are getting antsy watching ALU go sideways while other plays hit the street. It would be nice to get an IPO one of these days and it will benefit the Jacobs family as much as anyone. When it happens the gap up will allow no time to buy. I'm just sitting and accumulating here and there. If they spun off the net deivision for $0, it would still be a $10 to $15 stock the next time the distributors and small caps are in favor.
