NW That sounds like the bar that used to be at the summit on top of Rogers Pass between Lincoln and Missoula MT. Was a ways off the road and you could miss it in a good blizzard, closed down in the late 70's. If you did miss it there was always Lincoln, with several bars and a state liquor store. There was also another interesting bar just out of the canyon coming out of Missoula, had a huge picture window in the back bar, you could sit there and watch the trees grow and the animals do whatever, don't think it's there anymore.
