Whaa?

The SEC is actually doing something? With some folks suggesting they'd never get around to doing anything, and we should cut some kind of a deal with Mr. Tow, I assumed we were stale news, especially since everything seems to have quieted down to normal conversation levels.

Do you think the SEC will mind all the insider info that Macker posted, since it's impossible to miss if you read the boards and have an IQ above 30. Naaa, they don't care...

Cool!

~Owl, thanking those who stuck with it.

Well Raven, don't read my words the other way either. I canonize no one here. I am an advocate for taking responsibility. Just as I stand in opposition to blaming Macker for the fiasco that became MTEI, neither would I elevate him for praise in what transpired. Everyone made their investment decisions and I am sure that everyone had slightly differing reasons for their choices. I am also sure that Macker and the Rocketeer Cadets spawned their share of enthusiasm and were a part of many people's decisions.

But what I don't necessarily believe is that Macker knew that the company was a scam. Those guys at the company just plain lied to everyone and irony of ironies they got shafted as well. So with so much awry in Camelot, I think it unfair to single out the messenger for the acts of the kingdom.

It might be more profitable to blame human greed, which I think in the final analysis, was the ruin of all who lost money here.
