This one looks like a well-rounded hunk of baloney to me. Dell plugs a few chips into a mother board, and it does this well. At the same time, it did a good job marketing the "direct sales" approach (which never made a particle of sense to me, at least from the consumer side of the transaction). Even someone as manipulative as Louis wouldn't do a deal where he acquires so little. It makes no sense at all given Dell's 50 times book.
