Tony, with a moniker like mine, I must always point out any such holes that others dig. <g>

RE: PMCS, BRCM, etc. I don't see the internet as a "craze", as you put it. The e-commerce stocks are a craze, but the internet infrastructure stocks are the real thing, imo. The internet is a new media that will continue to expand in terms of users and bandwith/user. ATHM, BRCM, CNXT represent for me a basket of stocks that are competing to provide more bandwith per user. PMCS and UNPH are in the realm of providing more infrastructure in the network itself. (As are CSCO, LU, MSFT and INTC.)

I have a position in all of these, with my biggest positions on CSCO, MSFT, INTC (core holdings) and PMCS. I am watching all of these stocks closely, as their relative positions (of non-core holdings) in the marketplace become more clear. I will consolidate toward the emerging gorilla if there is one, or I will dump the whole lot if there isn't one. (Watching for effects of INTC/Level 1 deal.)

BTW, EMC and NTAP are also internet infrastructure plays, core holdings, and doing very well.

What's your take on all this?
