JG, "It seemed really nuts to me that China would go GSM; since the Chinese army controls, it seemed to me that it would want secure communications available with cdma digital." I am hardly an expert in the matter of "secure communications", authentication, or encryption. I was, however, unaware that CDMA had a provable or documented real advantage over GSM in this matter. Can you provide a link or two to support this? Thank you. - Eric -
