JFT, shorting the stock and buying calls later
"if you timed it wrong" is like "legging into"
a put. Such a strategy requires exceptional timing
in order to avoid being whipsawed. Why don't you just
buy the put outright or sell short and buy the call,
(out-of-the-$ for instance) simultaneously???
Good luck however you decide.

I, for one, would be interested in the real activity
of the cement business in general , e.g. growth, forward orders,
pricing, expectations. Only information that is
not classified as insider please
I do not know if
your firm is even listed or not. A polite "take a hike"
is okay if you don't feel so inclined. TIA if you can share.
