Right. Current IS-95 licenses can continue to do IS-95 and CDMA 2000. But if one wants to do WCDMA (still has to be backward compatible with IS-95) needs to pay a new license fee plus future royalty payment.

Pardon me. Either I am not aware of your standing on this issue or I just forgot.
