Teevee- Something to ponder with regards to the rumor of the 16 carat chunker broken in the core. Can you comment on the quality of such a stone if it exists. Would a clean high quality stone be broken while drilling or would the probability of breakage increase if the stone was full of inclusions.
Does't matter one way or another right now just thought you might have something to say on this scenario.

P.S. You said a few months ago that the share price of WSP would pass ABZ. I think your right on the money.
PS2 if the 16 carat rumor is true then your 110 carat prediction might be a little conservative.

Tevee: I agree. We were left off the last one apparently due to the fact that Wsp wanted loyal owners of stock to prevent takeover of mgt or company.

Unless there is a rights offering i am voting no too. We should be able to amount a significant campaign to affect this.

teevee, before you say 'wsp shareholders don't mind being screwed', check out the option re-pricing debate from summer '97. It pretty much starts here - #reply-1525552 - "No one can accuse me of criticizing WSP very much, but..." ... he soon fixed that -g-

The insiders tend to make out like bandits whether the play is successful or not, that's just the nature of the game. You choose to play or buy T-bills, that's a personal choice. I love this wsp paper, it has treated me better than any paper since Arequipa - but I don't have any illusions about corporate democracy or equality with insiders. Winspear policy is set behind closed doors, and i strongly suspect that Randy Turner controls the discussion quite completely.

Yes, a rights issue would be fairer, and good PR as well. I'll be very interested in Newco paper as long as the same management and exploration team is involved ..... cheers
