Hi L3, Iraq had the best air defense we have seen in a long while and I doubt Serbia will be much of a threat technology wise Doesn't matter what technology you have purchased. If the operators are so scared that they shut off their equipment and fire blind, nothing is tested , by us or them! One more erroneous lesson from Desert Storm. Terrain will be a factor, as you say...and perhaps we may meet an enemy who has a stomach for a fight...I hope not but, could be. History suggests that the Balkans are a dangerous place to play. Why the US, with no national interests at stake, will allow cigar bill to put good men and women in harms way for no concrete reason and with no strategic plan is beyond me.
