Why would you or anyone else care that one person writes one sentence about a stock. It's their opinion. Nothing else
I wouldn't even waste my time responding. It was one sentence with nothing behind it. Just an opinion.
Is SW the almighty prognosticator of stocks?
My record is about 80-90% on target and I still have enough faith in MRPS to keep adding at these prices. And I absolutely would never pay attention to an opinion without any sound reasoning behind it, let alone become irate.
We are all entitled.

Hey Darrol...I am going to choose to believe that SW is not invested short or long on MRPS and made a mistake and said something he wishes now he hadn't. Don't worry....people know we love MRPS. We made our point. He follows too many stocks, imo, and sometimes can only look at the price and volume and do some quick DD.
I'm not going to get worked up because we have a core group of investors who seem real solid here.

Can you imagine people selling the stock now when we are probably within 3 weeks of some really big announcements and maybe a couple days of some news?

Nothing worse than selling right before a long run. I was watching SETO last Friday at 38 cents right before it ran to $1.50 or so in the last 10 minutes of trading. Some guy sold 20,000 shares right before the run.

He "lost" about $26,000 by selling 20 minutes too early.

Dabloc, Luddick, Seim, and others, I though this might be of interest to you and other "longs" of MPRS. I am being fairly polite but pointed I hope.

JUST POSTED ON SW's THREAD IN RESPONSE TO WHAT DUE DILIGENCE (one of the really good guys on SI) SAID TO STOCKWATCHER:

"DD, here's my final thoughts (I think) about what SW said about MRPS and the difficult responsibility of being a good thread host.

(SW-- I should probably have addressed this directly to you, but it is as much about anyone who has a high profile on SI)

Well, about the most negative thing I can say about SW or anyone trying to run a high quality discussion thread is that I think he has put himself in a position where he cannot possibly keep up with all the picks that people throw at him. Who could? But that's what causes a problem...when people send you information you feel obligated to be polite... or at least acknowledge what they said by saying SOMETHING. After all, you want to be friendly and encourage good picks to come in, right?

I may be wrong, but I wonder how many times a thread leader just takes a cursory glance at someone picks, says some nice little comment, and never really has the time to take a further look? I get tons of PM's and I know how difficult it is to look at even 1/2 of them.

It is obviously a tough position SW is in because it would take about 12 hours a day of DD for someone to know even 1/4 of the stocks well that people probably ask him to take a look at. And to personaly have time to call CEO's and follow up properly a couple times a week is impossible, obviously.

That why it is so crucial to keep public remarks about a stock you really don't know totally private. You can't judge a company without really calling and asking the hard questions yourself, and that is why I was so surprised by his comments. Usually he handles his opinions with grace.

BOTTOM LINE: I think anytime you post negative info on a company, you have to expect that criticism to be laid on you, especially if lots of high quality people, with hard-earned money, which causes HIGH emotional states are involved in the stock. Like DablocTrader said and I agree, when someone who is normally respected says something negative (and out of character) about a company, it can cause damage not deserved (to the company). And the real issue was that proper DD was not done and no supporting information was given before calling it a "classic pump and dump". It came out of the blue, and was not supported well. After all, you can't blame a company for Daytraders leaving a stock after hyping it up and MM's exaggeratting the move in both directions

My advice is never to say anything bad or controversial about a stock unless I really know it well. That is the big sin that many make. I recently bashed QTNT hard, but I know that stock so well and what happened over the last year is the makings of a class action suit.

MPRS has much to prove, but you you cannot deny that they really do have contracts with some huge names like Ford and GM and NASCAR and an initial connection to the Army Corp of Engineers.

Now for a BB stock at any price to have done business with even ONE company of this magnitude is noteworthy.

The fact that dollar amounts are not mentioned in the contracts is not unusual at all. In fact if you read many PR's done by small BB companies with big companies, they sometimes even forbid the smaller firm selling the product or service to even MENTION their name, let alone what they paid or how much they bought. Nevertheless MPRS is planning on a summary release with follow-up info and of course the financials which will eventually tell the whole story.

I agree with you DD that this stock got ahead of itself. Any stock that goes up 6-fold in a few days usually has. The Company and the stock is not to blame for DT's getting out and the stock dropping. But what is significant now is how many good people on SI that are "high" on MRPS. That should tell people something right there.

RE: the financials, the company has stated that they are nearly ready to turn the audited documents in to the SEC. That is a big step which takes some time. Several accountants and companies I have recently spoken with say that audited financials are quite time consuming to do, especially in this busy tax season.

It's all so funny really because no one gave a dam* about financials a few weeks ago when the stock was at 38 cents. Now all of a sudden people expect financials NOW. It really would have been stupid to waste money and energy doing audited financials until it was necessary. Now it IS necessary, so they ARE doing them and have been for several weeks.

Now all that being said...if MRPS failed for some reason to produce significant answers by the end of April, then they would have real problems, but until then I for one give them the benefits of any doubts and remain ready to pick up lots more shares if the stock drops below $1.00 before major news hits.

As to SW and other people who are respected on SI....it's a tough job to always say the right thing, but pretty easy to avoid saying the really controversial things. Just be able to also back up controversial statements with proper and current evidence, and make a good case, or don't say anything at all....

and make MOM proud...you remember what Moms all over the world told us growing up....repeat after me..."if you can't say something nice, then don't say.... well , you know the rest".
