I find all these articles on mismeasured GDP very interesting because so many people are macro investors (myself NOT included) and place a lot of weight on GDP and other government statistics to make investment decisions.

I thought these articles might make other investors give more thought to the use of this sort of information. That's the reason for the post.

Unfortunately, I have no view on what the correct data might be. I just feel better about my position that is isn't very important to use this stuff and I feel better about the value investor bottom up approach that's typical of this thread.
