The K7 can easily go to 600Mhz? I don't think so. AMD has only been able to do a behind the curtain demo of a K7 under optimal conditions. No benchmarks and no details. If they expect to have 600Mhz production material, they could easily demo an 800Mhz K7. Where is it?

K6 paid for the development of K7. Without K6 AMD would be out of the X86 CPU business.
