Aloha Paul, My take on NSOL is that it is in ways much like AOL. It is in early, it is number one and it has a track record. Sure some of the registry dotcoms to come will be hot IPOs but NSOL is king of hill and will remain that way for some time to come IMO.
RE: YHOO/BCST if it doesn't go down soon, it don't think it will happen. If the market gets wacked they can do it cheaper but if the rumor hypes the price then it will happen if it is going to. If the stock runs on Monday YHOO can thank their pals over at AOL for having the rumor posted on the main AOL PF boards for most of the weekend. YHOO is this a little help from your friends?
RE: RNWK and DCLK anything is possible, double 909er stuff, that is why I say never short an internet while they are running.
RE: CPQ/ AltaVista spin off. I don't think it is a good idea in this current market to bet against any proven internet IPO. If you felt like the train left you at the station on GNET well I'd think about this one. You could end up feeling like you are in High School again and you just caught your best friend in the back seat with your girl friend. Bummer. An internet spin off of a proven product could be very hot. " In the internet it is, product, product, product."
Paul, we have got to get you to the mainland. Become a GNET shareholder and we'll put the heat on Russell to have next years shareholders meeting at the Hotel del Coronado. We can then fly (or drive it's up to you) to my Rocky Mountains, as my Grand Father would say, "God's Country". Aloha, BLUE
